Five Super-Models and How They Grew ('Teen - April 1969)

The other "super-models" in this article were Joanne Vitelli, Tracy Weed, Sally Murdoch and Cristina Ferrare. Colleen started modeling for Ford Models at the age of 11, and in her recollection of that very first job she apparently confused one Girl Scout publication with another. That very first photo in Colleen's long career can be seen here. Colleen's trip to the Far East appeared in the April 1964 issue of Seventeen. Colleen never did have a daughter (she did have two sons), and she never attended college herself. Joseph Santoro (his name is misspelled here) and Carmen Schiavone were both photographers for Seventeen magazine.
