| 'Teen Cover (July 1965) 'Teen magazine put Colleen on the cover of both their July and August 1965 issues, but there is not one picture of her on the inside of either issue - not even in ads. Putting a popular model on the cover does sell magazines, however, a fact 'Teen was obviously aware of. Perhaps because these were summer issues, Colleen is bare-shouldered on both covers with not a trace of clothing to be seen. It almost gives the impression that she is naked, an effect most evident in this "flower child" cover. (The September 1965 issue of Tiger Beat magazine also features several seemingly topless photos of Colleen.)
